a combination of indent and outdent?
Hey y'all, I don't really know how this is called properly called in typographic terms, hence the ambiguous title. Anyway, what I'm looking for may be descirbed as follows: I’d like to have\ list-like indented blocks of text that are preceded by a number/word/group of characters of choice that would...

Re: Feature request: TAB key in lists?
As for autotitles, I do love the function, but I'm disappointed that one can't just swap autotitle levels (in terms of formatting, etc.). It would make things a whole lot easier when adding new levels and when changing the structure of a larger document (such as an academic monograph).

Feature request: TAB key in lists?
Hey folks, I think it'd be rather useful if one could a TAB key to decrease a level in a list and an ENTER key to increase, rather than clicking an arrow in the "List" palette. What say you? (Btw, haven't heard from the Redlers in a while, are you guys busy writing an iPad version? :P) Pete

Feature request: swapping of levels in autotitles
Hey there, I think it'd be a good idea if, in the setup of autotitles, one could swap various level within the flow. This would be practicable especially in the longer document with complex title system. So, for instance, I've already written a fairly long document where I'd like to push the style (...

Re: Feature request: table styles
Yes, table styles are a huge desideratum. My thesis document already contains some 60 tables (and increasing), and every table is a pain to customise. Moreover, as noted numerous times, autotitles don't function within tables—which greatly limits their usefulness.

Re: Feature request: More customisation for Tables!
For instance, "space above" paragraph function doesn't work (at least in the top row). And yes, table styles as such are most desirable.

Re: Macros and Mellel (problems with the TextExpander)
Yes, you're right, it's an em dash. English is my second language, so this terminology confused me. But the point still stands.

Macros and Mellel (problems with the TextExpander)
Hey folks, I have already emailed our most amazing Redlers about this, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience. I've just started using TextExpander for my macros, and, naturally, one of the commonest macro academics use is "--" leading into "—." This works fine in...

Re: Feature request: More customisation for TABS!
No worries. It's good to know—at least—that I haven't left any other options unexplored.

Re: Feature request: More customisation for TABS!
I did read your message. Appreciate it. I have worked my way through the Mellel guide, but I still can't seem to figure out how to place a tab before the footnote character. Moreover, when I did try to fool around with this, all my footnotes got messed up in the process and even reverting to the ori...

Re: Feature request: More customisation for TABS!
Please, bear with me. But how do I create more than one tab? And how do I insert a tab before a footnote character? There doesn't seem to be any option to do so.

Re: Feature request: More customisation for TABS!
Thanks so much for your advice. Please, pardon my ignorance, but I'm very ignorant when it comes to these issues. How do I actually insert these tabs? I really have no idea

Feature request: More customisation for TABS!
Hey folks, I think it'd be great if TABS could be more customisable. One specific example that I can think of and the one that bugs me the most pertains to the footnotes: I've noticed that, as the number of digits in a footnote increases, so decreases the space between a footnote number/character an...
