Howdy.

I would think that you would have maybe 3-4 page styles (chapter Intro, chapter Regular, Bibliography, etc.). If you had Chapter Regular set up for the Text/Title you want, you would only have to change it in one style, not 30 times.

Interesting that using the "Check for updates" in the menu on Mellel indicted that my version was up-to-date. Although the Version number is correct on the main web site, the date still shows September 7. I know, minor things, but just in case someone (i.e. an old codger like me) might get...

I find sometimes that a simple illustration with text flowing around it is exactly what I need. So I cannot use Mellel in that case. Obviously it would be a nice to have, but I can live without right now, as it would add only 5% to my usability of Mellel.

Thanks, Mats. You have confirmed my concerns/thoughts/curiosity. And the reason I even raised it, is that someone may be surprised to find that instead of an indexing capability, Mellel provides concordance capability (may still be important, but not the same).

I have followed the discussion and appreciate all the knowledge of participants. One perhaps simple or even simplistic question I have is about how the indexing fits into the professional indexing situation. When I looked into this 2-3 years ago, professional indexing was still a manual activity. Ev...

Problem with Hebrew and Superscript

I am referring to textual criticism of the NT. Aleph is easy enough to produce, but when I try to add a number, and then a superscript, (first corrector, 2nd corrector, etc.) it always puts the number to the left of the Aleph character, instead on the right. Is there any (easy) way to add a superscr...

Tried Safari, no go.

Then Firefox, downloaded, but wouldn't automatically open. I had to go back and download it without automatic opening, then double-click the file.

So I have it, but it took a while.
