Re: Mellel + ePub - your thoughts and requests

Since I'm using my iPad Air 3 more and more, and my MBP not so often nowadays, I would very much like the iPad version of Mellel to be on par with the macOS version of Mellel. I would very much like to have features like hyphenation, auto-title management, keyboard shortcuts, be able to create TOC f...

Re: Problem with direction when using English

I tried to type (both in Swedish and English), and all the punctuations worked just fine. No problems whatsoever with neither commas nor periods behave odd in my texts.

I have the latest update of Mellel, the latest macOS on my MBP retina 2012.

Re: MathType and Catalina

Have you tried LaTeXiT instead? It may work (I haven't used in in years) with both Mellel and Catalina.

Re: News from mellel ios

I hope there are plenty of improvements, taking the iOS version closer to the macOS version regarding features and so on.

Re: iOS window closes

I found an interesting post regarding a similar case at stackexchange This is due to the restrictions iOS places on app developers. Apps are only allowed to stay open in the background for a few minutes (this saves RAM), so if the developer doesn't have the app save where you were last, the app will...

Export pdf from the ipad

I have tried and not been able to find a way to export from the Mellel iPad app to the file format pdf if the file is located somewhere else than the Mellel folder in iCloud. I do not want to saved or move my files from the folders I have saved them within from the beginning. I save my files in spec...

Re: trim marks

I do not know how to create the trim marks, but I will try to answer your second question: File->Export->PDF is recommended The main difference is that PDFs produced by print->PDF don't include the outline. I hope someone else will give you an answer regarding the trim marks. But as far as I know, I...

Re: PakaPaka Studio: new application

It would be great if PakaPaka could be updated to a 64-bit application. Also would be nice to have an iOS version of the same application. A very useful app.

Re: Round trip editing equations with MathType

I asked Redlers, several years ago, to try to implement LinkBack to Mellel, but problem should still be that MathType do not support LinkBack. Another is if LinkBack still is a ongoing project or not.

I have a lot of files, I mean a lot of files. When I tried to type after I temporarily deactivated iCloud, the sluggishness was gone.

Re: Numbering Figures

I want to have my figures numbered automatically and sequentially throughout the manuscript, using the chapter number as part of the caption. So I want Figure 2.1, Figure 3.6, and so forth. Is there a way to get the chapter number into the Figures auto title sequence, and to restart the numbering w...
