insert page break
Can someone tell me what the shortcut keystroke is for inserting a page break. The insert menu tells you the keystroke, but I've never seen that symbol before, and the user guide is no help for this question.

Re: Double-page view
I'd like this too. It would be especially good when you're writing books and want to see how side-by-side pages look.

Re: Spotlight for Leopard
although the Redlers haven't indicated this as being part of the 2.5 update (the mass-awaited xref release) but I really hope spotlight — and hopefully Quicklook) integration will be part of this update as well. Leopard has been out for a while now, its time for Mellel to adapt - so to speak.

Re: Rebuilding Bookends Database
why would you need to keep old databases if you've rebuilt them? You rebuild because they are unstable, why keep them?
Plus, Bookends can be set to keep a backup of your database, so again no need to keep old ones.
As you can tell, I follow the Gerben method too

Re: newbie question re: mellel and bookends
definitely take time to read the Bookends User Guide. is it possible to generate footnotes in a particular format (say, turabian) and with the proper style That's what the Mellel and Bookends combo is all about. Bookends ships with Turabian formats, and the user guide can help you alter them if you ...

Re: Wishlist 2008
- xref (obviously) - text wrap around images - True WYSIWYG reference management. I'm grateful for the boosts to the Mellel+Bookends/Sente that came to us this year, but we are still not at the WYSIWYG stage yet (in the way that Word+Endnote has cite-while-you-write). Mac's have a lot of juice and t...

Re: Greek Accents
First, are you pasting the regular way or plain text? I paste plain text from Accordance so that Mellel applies my chosen fonts (Greek is my secondary font). If you are doing this already, what font are you using? Some fonts have gone a little weird for Greek unicode since Leopard, but Galatia and G...

Re: Need Input on Mellel/Bookends/DevonThink App Combo
JAMiller, glad I could help out a bit. I'm always happy to hear people switching to Mac - its soooo much better. And you'll love Accordance and not want to go back too :-) As to DTpro Office, there has long been talk on a new version in the forums but nothing has been officially said. I'm hoping by ...

Re: Need Input on Mellel/Bookends/DevonThink App Combo
JAMiller, I'm in Biblical studies and use the combination you are describing (you may be familar with the Bookends SBL Guide and format—I made those and maintain them for the BE developer). To answer some of your questions: Mellel and NWPro offer the best language support on the Mac. I haven't used ...

And Now A Word From Our Sponsors......(please!)
The Redlers voices have been eerily silent on this forum lately and I would really like to hear from them on what exactly is happening with Mellel. All you need to do is read a few posts on the forum to see that users are scratching their heads wondering when we can expect the next major installment...
