Re: Separate header margins from page margins

Thanks for the suggestions! I will try both of them. The PDF I am less worried about. But any last-minute surprises would not be welcome, especially since the filing deadline is 9/4.

Re: Separate header margins from page margins

Mellel handles headers and footers differently than Pages, and this is why the display is different. Many applications set the margin to be from the edge of the page to the body of the document. But in Mellel, the margins for the top and bottom are not the distance to the body of the text, but rath...

Re: Why is iCloud support MAS only?

Before another semester starts, I am seriously considering re-purchasing Mellel through the MAS so that I can use iCloud to sync documents between work and home computers. There has been talk of a discount being offered. Will this, by chance, be happening anytime soon? I just purchased a license in ...

Re: Missing text model dictionary

I still get the error occasionally. May just be an impression: but I'm several files are opened quickly in succession it seems to happen more.

Not fixed with latest version of Mellel, to be sure.

Would love word about version 3.0.

Re: Indexing

When I turned in my dissertation, written using Mellel, the archivist commented on how nice the manuscript looked.

All the old video tutorials should be posted. They are most helpful for beginners.

You can check out the forum at Zotero here http://www.zotero.org/search/#forums/mellel

Is there any reason you don't want to use Bookends? The integration with Mellel is impressive.

Re: Now that Lion is out…

Great! Hope to see long-awaited Comments as well. It seems that Comments would be a natural function to have added when Track Changes was implemented. Will Comments be forthcoming anytime soon?

Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Any confirmation of this? If true, I won't be upgrading to Lion immediately.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Recurring error

No idea what is going on. But this morning my wife had the same message when starting to resume work on her dissertation. It eventually went away, but it's not anything I have seen working with Mellel almost exclusively for five years.

I am curious as well.

I'm assuming you looked in Application Support > Mellel > Backup. Why not use Spotlight and look for the folder?

Great news! Will former Beta testers still be allowed to test 2.8?

Waiting with bated breath.
