The problem is that auto-title flows are not contained within style sets. Mellel will as a default use the auto-title flow as set in Mellel's preferences. I remember this being discussed only recently here in the forum. I personally think auto-titel flows should be part of the style sets. That woul...

Hmm, I see. But if I instead of footnotes using endnotes, it will be working just as I want it to work. One of the main problems with the way it's working with footnotes and section now, is if I want to have a section with two columns in the middle of the page. Then it's not possible to use footnote...

I made a test after I read your post and, unfortunately, I got the same bizarre result. I really hope it's a bug and not a feature. :?

Interesting. Will the Redlers provide a new GUI for Mellel that will follow the GUI of Leopard or will Mell keep the same look as it has today?

I have not used the feature yet Use it! Even if you do not need it. It's fantastic (and going better)! I use it everyday. For example, when I add or change something in a document I am discussing with others, I can mark the new or changed text, so that they can immediately jump there. It is like a ...

It can't possibly be true that I'm the only one disturbed by this, can it? Let's conduct an experiment: From my initial posting, copy the second, third and fourth paragraph (starting with 'Anyway, here's the deal', ending with 'noticeable and really disturbing'). Paste that into Mellel and delete t...

Can you do me a favor macsailor? Set Mellel's text zoom to 100% and create a paragraph that is about a page long. Then tell me whether you feel that it's getting sluggish when typing, especially compared to when you start a new paragraph right underneath. I tried what you asked me to do and I did n...

The same goes for me. I have not used the feature yet, so it's quite difficult to give a fair vote from my part of the Mellel World.

I've got a Pismo (G3/500, 576MB of memory, 80gig harddrive) and I'm using the latest version of MacOS X (10.4.9). I do not find specifically Mellel to be that slow on my PowerBook. I do feel that my Pismo is ready for a retirement any time now (it's nearly 8 years old by now), but I do not think tha...

Re: Thanks, but no such pathway in my version

MacSailor: OK. Thanks for the thought; as I said above I did find a Cr Standard Font in a different folder than stated by mr Martin. Hehe, I was to fast writing my text and to slow to read your text. Sorry. I did re-check your suggestion and found no such path in my version of Reader--there ...

Re: Adobe--fontless in Seattle . . .

Mel watchers: As per mr Martin's suggestion I tried to find the Adobe versions of Courier in my Reader version 7.05 that I use on regular basis. First I looked in the App Support folder that he listed above--and no go--no Fonts to be found. Then I "spotlighted" terms "adobe fonts&quo...
