Howdy. Do you have justify selected? as opposed to left justify or right justify?

Thank you! I had downloaded and installed SideNote and sure enough changing that shortcut in SideNote resolved the problem!!!

Strange, as mine was loaded onto a pristine MacBook Pro, so it isn't like a messed up system. Yes, I use Disk Utility regularly as well.

I guess as a last resort I could unistall and re-install and see if that works.
