Trouble With Background Image

Post by kcjimmyk »

I added a background image in the "Page" palette

The background image looks centered in the "page palette" and on the Mellel screen

But when I print it the image is shifted to the left.

Any ideas?

How far is it shifted?

I added a background to the Mellel default template and the image as printed appears trimmed on both the left and the right.

Could this be from the unprintable regions in the MacOS print settings? I tried to set up a new page type but had trouble - I couldn't select the new page type without it reverting.

I think that's outside of Mellel.

As you can see, on the inside edges the image comes nearly to the edge of the paper, but there is a significant margin on the outside. I told Mellel to center the images.

You are probably right, the problem is most likely with MacOS or the printer itself. Just looking for a work-around.
