Hello,
I wish I could determine the size the auto titles appear on my texts.
The Section part appears in 18 font size.
The Subsection appears in 12 font size.
Where can I bring the font size in Subsection to be in 16 font size.
TIA

Re: Auto-Titles configurations
Select the following in the menu bar:
Insert > Auto-Title > Edit title flows…
Then select your subsection auto-title, click on the object for which you want to change the font size and assign the appropriate style to the objects. (You might need to create an appropriate style before, since using a style for these things is much better than using ad-hoc formatting.)
Insert > Auto-Title > Edit title flows…
Then select your subsection auto-title, click on the object for which you want to change the font size and assign the appropriate style to the objects. (You might need to create an appropriate style before, since using a style for these things is much better than using ad-hoc formatting.)

Thanks. You are very useful, as usual

Sorry to come back:

Where is this object. Is it in the Mellel text or in the dialog box opened to edit the subsection. I can't find out where is it, so, please indicate me where is this object.

Re: Auto-Titles configurations
Way back when I learned how Mellel works it took me a while to figure this out too:
-> Select the objects in your Auto-Title (e.g., Current Number, etc.)
-> Use the menus *in the menubar* to apply the appropriate character/paragraph style to it.
Usually menubar things do not act on things in dialogue boxes, but in Mellel they do... A bit strange, but fine once you know.

Sorry, but I'm missing something. Where is this "In the Menu Bar" found,
You will help me very much with few more words of explanations.
TIA

The "Menu Bar" is found along the top of the screen. In Mellel, it will consist of "[Apple] Mellel File Edit …"raymond wrote:ahankinson wrote: -> Use the menus *in the menubar*

What is meant, is use the commands in the menus, as opposed to trying to change the styles from the palettes.
