There is a way to lock the full screen mode? I like it, but I need to use Sente to make citations, and every time I use Sente (Cmd+Y) mellel exits from full screen, even if my bibliography software is running in full mode or in another desktop. I don't have this problem with scrivener, only in mellel...

I'm afraid there's no way to prevent this. This is one of the many limitations of the current full screen.
On the brighter side, a big improvement is in the works and you don't even need Lion to enjoy it.
