I too am having problems with spell checker. The checker just will not pick up mistakes. Also, language sets will not stay checked in preferences nor in the "character" tab. I checked English in both, but when I close the palettes and/or reopen the document both show "none" in the language choice box. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using Lion 10.7.5., and Mellel 3.02.

Just an update. I am using Mellel 3.2 beta... and Spell Catcher now works perfectly in Mellel!!
