I have 2 paragraph styles listed in my document and I don't know where they are in my document. Is there a way I can find them?

You could use File>Replace Styles... to change them to a paragraph style that is very conspicuous.

Yes, I suppose that is how one would have to proceed, but it is curious and sometimes rather maddening, that one cannot search a style. I even think I asked for at once on this forum, but there was never any answer.
