Hello All,

Here is another problem I am facing.

After I finished writing, my supervisors requested that the footnotes should be numbered per chapter. I tried to insert sections to change the numbering and that did not work out as it should for in some pages it changed the layout completely!

How can I change the numbering flow of footnotes?

Here's how I think you solve this issue: first, when you are editing the Title Flows in the Auto-Title palette, select your Chapters title flow and use "Insert Below" to insert a Section Break.

Next, click Insert ==> Note ==> Edit note attributes and set "Numbering" to "restart every section".

This should be: use "Insert Before"
