Can i join two tables together in 4.2?

I have two tables. Format is identical. One is a continuation of the other. I'd like to make one table out of them. Is there a way to do this?

There is probably a more elegant way to do this, but here's what I found:

Say, the second table is four lines long
-- select the first table, click on the edit button at the bottom and increase the number of lines by four
-- select the second table; select and copy all of its contents
-- select the first table again, click on the first row/first column of the new lines and paste
