Quick Index doesn't search into citations

Hi,
while using Quick Index to insert Index marks for authors cited in the manuscript, I realized that the search pane finds all places where an authors appears except into citation objects. This is a strange behavior since the find/replace tool searches within citation objects. I tried with/without formatting, with/without diacritics or others options, but to no avail.
This is annoying since a author index is mainly populated with citations…
A workaround would be to use find/replace to manually add the Index mark, but, still, it's not very convenient.
Thanks if you can point a possible explanation to me.
