Indexing with shortcut / drag-and-drop?

Post by typofi »

Hi all,

I am wondering what's a good fast way to do indexing? Are there shortcuts one can use?

It seems slow if one has to go through the menu Insert --> Index every time. I know there is the Quick index feature but I am talking about manual indexing.

I'd love to see something like:
  • drag-and-drop ability. Just grab a term from the Index Record list and drop it on the right text line.
  • Simple shortcuts for
    • New Record & Mark: trigger the command as in the menu
    • Mark: If the chosen word corresponds directly with an existing record, then simply mark it accordingly. If not, then bring up the "New Record & Mark dialogue".
