Why so heavy ver.5.0.6?

Post by WAKAMATSU »

Dear Eyal Redler,
How are you getting on ?
This is the situation after updating to Mellel ver.5.0.6.
The environment is OSX 10.14.6 Mojave Mac mini.
The color ball stays spinning when saving or starting.
It took more than two or three minutes for the screen to return to normal.
Why is it so heavy?
Even the auto-save setting is turned off.
Is there any way to lighten the operation?
With kind regards, WAKAMATSU

How is everyone doing?
How is the usability of Mellel 5.0.6 in your environment?
In my environment with Mac OS 10.14.6, there was no improvement,
so I ended up reverting to Mellel 5.0.5.
With Mellel 5.0.6, the color ball still kept spinning when I tried to "Save File",
and eventually Mellel 5.0.6 itself shut down by itself.
I have reported this situation to Mr.Redler.
I have saved and emailed the information from the activity monitor.
No problems occur in the Japanese environment with Mellel 5.0.5.
That's all I have to report.
Thx and regards, WAKAMATSU

Dear All.
I don't know why, but since this morning, Mellel 5.0.6 is working fine.
It no longer takes a long time to save or open a document.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but the problem has been resolved.
Thx and regards, WAKAMATSU

Thank you for reporting, Wakamatsu. I'm glad to know the troubles with 5.0.6 are behind you now. (For the moment, I feel so happy with 5.0.5 that I have yet to upgrade, but it's good to know there's no trouble in sight.)
