Multiple Tables of Contents?

Post by mc7121 »

Is it possible to create multiple dedicated tables of contents - like for the actual content, for figures, tables etc?
This would be pretty essential for my PhD theses.

I use different Auto-Titles to accomplish this. The normal (hierarchical / chapter) Auto-Titles are then put into a part of the TOC that is seperate from the other Auto-Title streams (in my case those are photo, graphic, transcript).

When I insert a TOC the TOC is produced in one section, first the chapter entries and then separate blocks for photo, graphic and transcript.

I hope that this is of help to you.

Other than that you should probably take a peek into the guide (which can be downloaded from this site) – there you will find the full options explained in detail:
