Mellel 3.3.7 bug

Post by tineline »

I just downloaded the update 3.3.7, and somehow, my thesis document lacks a large portion of the view. I am on Yosemite, linked with bookends and have a lot of citations, but my emergency version 3.3.1. does not do this, neither did 3.3.6. in Yosemite. I have not done anything to Bookends.

The problem does not appear with smaller documents without citations. Haven't tried all my docs. First time it happened, it was the lower portion that went missing, now it is the upper. (I had a reboot in between.)

So - any solutions to this problem? I will keep working in 3.3.1. for now.

Edit: This was fixed with 3.3.8. Thanks!!!

I don't think it's a bug. I think you have the annotations pane open. If so, you can close it in the View menu.
I had the same difficulty, as did someone else on the forum. Perhaps the redlers can find a way to make it clearer what that grey area means, so people know how to close it.

Sorry, I looked at your picture again. It seems to be something else.
Can't help with that one.
