Unable to Update From Mellel 5 to v. 6

Hi, I am a longtime user of Mellel (from the MacWorld Expo days in SF). I am using MAC OS Ventura 13.4.1 and have Mellel 5 installed. When I check for updates, I get a message that Mellel 6 is available, as a free update. I press INSTALL UPDATE, Mellel downloads and runs an updater, READY TO INSTALL, I enter my MacBook password, press OK, and NOTHING! My Mellel 5 is in the apps folder, NO MELLEL 6. I've tried about 10 times. Please advise.

I'm afraid there is an issue with the automatic update for certain people. We are investigating this. In the meanwhile, please update manually as follows:
1. Download Mellel 6 from our website ( www.mellel.com/download).
2. Install Mellel 6 by copying it into your Applications folder.
3. Launch Mellel 6 from your Applications folder.
4. Mellel should detect your valid Mellel license.
5. Choose Mellel > Migration Assistant to migrate your settings from Mellel 5.
