Text replacement apps in Mellel 6

I've noticed odd behaviour with text replacement apps since upgrading to Mellel 6. aText used to work fine in Mellel 5 but works erratically in 6. Two character aliases are ok, but with more than two characters only the last character is replaced by the substituted text.

I've tried Typinator and that seems to work properly, but the built in text replacement function in macOS doesn't work at all.

This behaviour doesn't appear in any other apps.

I saw that someone had a similar problem with Mellel 5.

I've just discovered that disabling the "Automatically use clipboard when inserting long text" option fixes this.

There was an issue with some text replacing apps that was fixed in Mellel 6.0.1 (just released). Can you update and check again?

I'm now running 6.0.1. The problem seems to persist with aText. When "Always use clipboard to insert snippets" is enabled, inserting "thx", for example, produces "thThank you". The inserted text seems to replace only the last character of the abbreviation. Currently, I have "Always use clipboard to insert snippets" enabled for all applications EXCEPT Mellel and "Automatically use Clipboard when inserting long text (faster)" disabled, and it works correctly.
