Typing in Style Names

Post by laup »

I should know, but...Is there a way to apply a style by, e.g., selecting the passage, typing something (like CMD S), and then typing one's name for the style in question, such as Normal? Similarly, applying auto-titles?

There's no way to do this, perhaps with some third party software.
It does sound like a good idea, I wonder what other people here in the forum think. Would you like to see such a feature?

That sounds like a nice convenience feature, one more way to keep the fingers on the keyboard.

This could also be done with hotkeys. Character style variations are already accessible with function keys. Accessing a style or auto-title by hotkey would be an idea, too.
