New "Update" section on website

Post by Eyal Redler »

We've added a new feature on our site, an update guide to help people who are not sure how to update Mellel.
If you have time we would really appreciate if you could have a look at it here: http://mellel.com/update and let us know (write to us or respond here) what you think.
Things like pointing out typos, unclear explanations or bad grammar, scenarios that we didn't cover, etc. would be a great help.

For my part (Mellel user before the Mac App store), the steps are clear 😌

It's all very clear.

You have a typo, though:
"Retrive your old license code from your records."
Should be: "Retrieve your old license code from your records."

Below the typo Nicka has just pointed out, in the second bullet point, the verb "be" is lacking. It says, "You will asked to enter your old code during the process"; however, it should say, "You will be asked to enter your old code during the process."

The instructions on upgrading "an earlier version of Mellel" from the Mac App Store also has a small typo. The very first sentence reads as follows: "The Mac App Store doesn’t allow payed upgrades." "Payed" should be spelled "paid" unless of course an alternative (British?) spelling is being used; however I don't recall that such alternative spelling exist (I could be wrong!). I hope this helps!

It should be ‘paid’ in British English too.
