When a Mellel document, created on Mac '1' is edited on a laptop '2' it opens on the original Mac '1' with a strange anomaly.
If a word is italicised on laptop '2' it looks fine on the laptop '2', yet it appears in another font, Lucida Handwriting, on the original Mac '1'.
The document has various paragraph and character styles, but all use the font Calibri which is installed on both Macs. Both Macs are using Mellel 5.1 but this happened in earlier versions too.
I hope this is comprehensible! Why would laptop '2' substitute the font when italicising?
Thanks, Stuart

Re: Styles problem?
Do you have an italic style variant that uses a different font? Just a wild guess, but I think Mellel may use font variants in some cases.

Thanks. I've reinstalled Calibri on the laptop which seems to have sorted the problem. I'm not sure why just the italic was being substituted with another font.
